The sun was shining when we arrived at Meols Hall and there was a beautiful smell of cut grass. Today was the wedding of Philip & Kath who had told us that live entertainment at their wedding was a must. Set in a 400 year old barn amongst over 100 acres of woodland. We were situated just outside the courtyard to entertain guests while the lovely couple went off to have their photographs taken. The setting was perfect with pink lemonade, hand crafted decorations and a wonderful audience who quickly became involved in the party. Our interactive percussion session went down particularly well, not only with the children but with the fun loving grownups. The whole day had a very relaxed feel with space hopper races, three legged races and even a sack race. We did our first set before dinner and then our second after dinner before the evening’s entertainment started. We were told how the entertainment was perfect as you often get a lull at weddings during these times. The happy couple were very happy with our performance and we believe they are going to Sri Lanka on their honeymoon. Congratulations Phil & Kath your day was perfect and very well thought out and we wish you every success in a long a happy marriage together.
